La Ventana has been introduced as a tourist destination due to wind sports, such as Windsurf and Kitesurf. From early November to mid-April you can practice or learn these sports (windsurf, kitesurf, foil etc.) in the bay. It has also become a destination for Mountain biking, since there are endless amounts of routes for every skill level, where you can practice this sport in the warm Baja winter.

From our bay you can see Cerralvo Island where you can enjoy fishing, diving, or hikes to the top of the mountain.

Only 40 minutes away from La Ventana you find La Paz, a wonderful location for a night out dining at one of the many restaurants, or to snorkel with the whale sharks, or take a day trip to visit Espiritu Santo Island.

 

A 30 min. drive towards the mountains will take you to the picturesque town of El Triunfo, which is a historic jewel of mine crafting. There you can book a guided walk in the area or visit the historic museums.
